The International Endovascular Observership, awarded by the CNS Foundation in collaboration with the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Utah, is a quaternary referral center in the Mountain West of the United State where a neuroendovascular team of four neurosurgeons provides a broad exposure to all aspects of neuroendovascular surgery procedures for adults and pediatrics, including the treatment of aneurysms, brain arteriovenous malformations, arteriovenous fistulas of the brain, tumors of the central nervous system, strokes, occlusive vascular diseases, revascularization, traumatic injury, maxillofacial vascular malformations spinal compression fractures and tumors. The University of Utah Stroke Center is the only Academic Comprehensive Stroke Center in the state of Utah and provides care to patients from across the Mountain West.
